           Theypartedatlast.AlittleoverhalfanhourlatercamethediscoveryofRogerAckroyd’sbody.SincethatnightUrsulahadneitherseennorheardfromRalph.

           Asthestoryunfoldeditself,Irealizedmoreandmorewhatadamningseriesoffactsitwas.Alive,AckroydcouldhardlyhavefailedtoalterhiswillIknewhimwellenoughtorealizethattodosowouldbehisfirstthought.HisdeathcameinthenickoftimeforRalphandUrsulaPaton.Smallwonderthegirlhadheldhertongue,andplayedherpartsoconsistently.
