ThejourneybackwasnotatalllikethejourneytotheFaun’scave; theystolealongasquicklyastheycould,withoutspeakingaword, andMrTumnuskepttothedarkestplaces. Lucywasrelievedwhentheyreachedthelamp-postagain.
"Doyouknowyourwayfromhere,DaughteroEve?"saidTumnus.
Lucylookedveryhardbetweenthetreesandcouldjustseeinthedistanceapatchoflightthatlookedlikedaylight. "Yes,"shesaid,"Icanseethewardrobedoor."
