           "Whatcanbethemeaningofthatemphaticexclamation?"criedhe. "Doyouconsidertheformsofintroduction,andthestressthatislaidonthem,asnonsense? Icannotquiteagreewithyouthere. Whatsayyou,Mary? Foryouareayoungladyofdeepreflection,Iknow,andreadgreatbooksandmakeextracts." 

           Marywishedtosaysomethingsensible,butknewnothow. 

           "WhileMaryisadjustingherideas,"hecontinued,"letusreturntoMr.Bingley."
