           "Ofmusic!Thenprayspeakaloud. Itisofallsubjectsmydelight. Imusthavemyshareintheconversationifyouarespeakingofmusic. TherearefewpeopleinEngland,Isuppose,whohavemoretrueenjoymentofmusicthanmyself,orabetternaturaltaste. IfIhadeverlearnt,Ishouldhavebeenagreatproficient. AndsowouldAnne,ifherhealthhadallowedhertoapply. Iamconfidentthatshewouldhaveperformeddelightfully. HowdoesGeorgianageton,Darcy?" 

           Mr.Darcyspokewithaffectionatepraiseofhissister’sproficiency. 

           "Iamverygladtohearsuchagoodaccountofher,"saidLadyCatherine; "andpraytellherfromme,thatshecannotexpecttoexcelifshedoesnotpracticeagooddeal." 

           "Iassureyou,madam,"hereplied,"thatshedoesnotneedsuchadvice. Shepractisesveryconstantly."
