“ThatwillInot,”repliedAbellius,“whilemylifelastethandmysoulisinmybody,unlessthougivemefirstthehound.”
“Icannot,”saidSirTor,“andwillnot,foritwasmyquesttobringagainthathoundandtheeuntoKingArthur,orotherwisetoslaythee.”
Withthattherecameadamselridingonapalfrey,asfastasshecoulddrive,andcriedouttoSirTorwithaloudvoice,“Ipraythee,forKingArthur’slove,givemeagift.”
