Andashetookhishorseavoicespakeintheirhearing,“Yeshallmeetnomoreinthislife.”

Thentheybadefarewell,andSirGalahadenteredtheforest,andSirLancelotreturnedtotheship,andthewindroseanddrovehimmorethanamonththroughthesea,wherebyhesleptbutlittle,yeteverprayedthathemightseetheSangreal.
Soitbefelluponacertainmidnight,themoonshiningclear,hecamebeforeafairandrichcastle,whereoftheposterngatewasopentowardsthesea,havingnokeepersavetwolionsintheentry.
