Atthattheyrantogether,andSirPercivalsmoteonetotheearthandmountedhishorse,andsolikewisedidSirBorsandSirGalahad,andsoonhadtheyroutedalltheirenemiesandalightedonfoot,andwiththeirswordsslewthemdownright,andenteredintothecastle.

Andtherewith,whenSirGalahadhadtakenhiminhisarms,hissouldepartedfromhisbody.
Thencameavoiceinthehearingofthemall,“Departnow,SirGalahad,andgoquicklytothemaimedking,forhehathlongabidedtoreceivehealthfromthyhand.”
Sothethreeknightsdeparted,andSirPercival’ssisterwiththem,andcametoavastforest,andsawbeforethemawhitehart,exceedingfair,ledbyfourlions;andmarvellinggreatlyatthatsight,theyfollowed.
Anontheycametoahermitageandachapel,whereuntothehartentered,andthelionswithit.
