NosoonerdidPollyhearherfather’sgoutyfootstepsapproachingtheparlordoor,accompaniedwiththestiffclatterofFeathertop’shigh-heeledshoes,thansheseatedherselfboltuprightandinnocentlybeganwarblingasong.
