Isawherfirst,gatheringyoungacornsfromthebranchesofalargeoaknearourtree.Shewasverytimid.Atfirst,shekeptverystill;butwhenshesawthatshewasdiscoveredshedroppedtothegroundanddashedwildlyaway.Wecaughtoccasionalglimpsesofherfromdaytoday,andcametolookforherwhenwetravelledbackandforthbetweenourtreeandthemouthoftheslough.
