           Inthisnewmaterialonemysticformula,orratherpairofformulae,recurredsooftenthatWilletthaditbyheartbeforehehadhalffinishedhisquest.Itconsistedoftwoparallelcolumns,theleft-handonesurmountedbythearchaicsymbolcalled"Dragon’sHead"andusedinalmanacstoindicatetheascendingnode,andtheright-handoneheadedbyacorrespondingsignof"Dragon’sTail"ordescendingnode.
