EastrodetheknightsofDolAmrothdrivingtheenemybeforethem:troll-menandVariagsandorcsthathatedthesunlight.SouthstrodeÉomerandmenfledbeforehisface,andtheywerecaughtbetweenthehammerandtheanvil.FornowmenleapedfromtheshipstothequaysoftheHarlondandsweptnorthlikeastorm.TherecameLegolas,andGimliwieldinghisaxe,andHalbaradwiththestandard,andElladanandElrohirwithstarsontheirbrow,andthedour-handedDúnedain,RangersoftheNorth,leadingagreatvalourofthefolkofLebenninandLamedonandthefiefsoftheSouth.ButbeforeallwentAragornwiththeFlameoftheWest,Andúrillikeanewfirekindled,Narsilre-forgedasdeadlyasofold:anduponhisbrowwastheStarofElendil.
AndsoatlengthÉomerandAragornmetinthemidstofthebattle,andtheyleanedontheirswordsandlookedononeanotherandwereglad.
