ItwasevenasthedaythusbegantoturnagainstGondorandtheirhopewaveredthatanewcrywentupintheCity,itbeingthenmidmorning,andagreatwindblowing,andtherainflyingnorth,andthesunshining.Inthatclearairwatchmenonthewallssawafaranewsightoffear,andtheirlasthopeleftthem.
ForAnduin,fromthebendattheHarlond,soflowedthatfromtheCitymencouldlookdownitlengthwiseforsomeleagues,andthefar-sightedcouldseeanyshipsthatapproached.
