Thelastitemontheprogrammewasagranddisplayoffireworks,tobeletoffexactlyatmidnight.ThelittlePrincesshadneverseenafireworkinherlife,sotheKinghadgivenordersthattheRoyalPyrotechnistshouldbeinattendanceonthedayofhermarriage.
"Whatarefireworkslike?"shehadaskedthePrince,onemorning,asshewaswalkingontheterrace.
"TheyareliketheAuroraBorealis,"saidtheKing,whoalwaysansweredquestionsthatwereaddressedtootherpeople,"onlymuchmorenatural.
