TheParsee,leadingtheothers,noiselesslycreptthroughthewood,andintenminutestheyfoundthemselvesonthebanksofasmallstream,whence,bythelightoftherosintorches, theyperceivedapyreofwood,onthetopofwhichlaytheembalmedbodyoftherajah,whichwastobeburnedwithhiswife.
