Thesucceedingwordsthrilledmestrangelyashespokethem:especiallyasIfelt,bytheslight,indescribablealterationinsound,thatinutteringthem,hiseyehadturnedonme.
"Hethatovercomethshallinheritallthings;andIwillbehisGod,andheshallbemyson.But,"wasslowly,distinctlyread,"thefearful,theunbelieving,etc.,shallhavetheirpartinthelakewhichburnethwithfireandbrimstone,whichistheseconddeath."

Acalm,subduedtriumph,blentwithalongingearnestness,markedhisenunciationofthelastgloriousversesofthatchapter.
